You create new customers as you book rides. So, when you click "New booking", you will be presented with a screen that either lets you load existing users or create a new one on the fly. We require a name and phone number for users, but email and payment methods are optional. Depending on your type of business, you may want to collect this information.

If you create a customer without an email address, we will generate one for them. After creating the customer, you may see their email listed as [a series of letters and numbers]". This is a randomly generated customer identifier.

If you create a customer without a credit card, you will not be able to charge any rides via credit until you add a credit card on file. You can add a new card at any time by clicking on the user's name in the ride list, and clicking the "Cards" tab.
